After opening in 2005 Etu Moana became the Author’s Choice in the Lonely Planet right way, and ever since, we have consistently received numerous reputations and high-ranking awards for Hotels in the South Pacific.
Almost always, Etu Moana has been rated the # 1 HOTEL ON AITUTAKI by Trip Advisor.
We have won the Travelers’ Choice Award, which highlights the top 10% of Hotels on Trip Advisor, in the categories TOP 25 HOTELS FOR ROAMANCE - SOUTH PACIFIC eight years in a row, and TOP 25 SMALL HOTELS - SOUTH PACIFIC four years in a row.
When Trip Advisor has released its new Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Award to honor hotels among the top 1% of their listings in 2020, Etu Moana has won BEST SERVICE - SOUTH PACIFIC and BEST SMALL - SOUTH PACIFIC right away.
As the first Tourism Operator on Aitutaki, Etu Moana was honored with the new COOK ISLANDS MANA TIAKI ECO CERTIFICATION first given by the Cook Islands Te Ipukarea Society in 2019.
